Jill (Kidder) Hooker, 45 of Gaylord Michigan died on February 16, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Alpena Michigan on June 18, 1975 to Jane Kidder and the late Gerald Kidder. She graduated from Atlanta High School in 1993. She later went to Kirtland College and received her nursing degree as a LPN. She worked for Tender Care and Aspen Ridge Retirement Village.
She married Kevin Hooker 2-5-2016, together they had over twenty-six years together. She loved watching TV/movies, crosswords, lotto tickets, playing games/cards and walking the dogs.
She was a member of Life Church and helped with the Gaylord Community Dinners.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Kevin Hooker, children; Alyssa Kidder (Ben Palmer) of Vanderbilt and Kody Kidder (Maya Thiry) of Ypsilanti. Mother Jane Kidder, sister Julie (Thomas) Morton of Atlanta Michigan, brother Jay (Stephanie) Kidder of Kansas, sister Michelle Rodriguez of Hastings Michigan. Mother in Law; Sandra Hooker of Gaylord Michigan. Many Nephews and Nieces and one special little man, Koda Cook who called her Papa Jill.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Torrey and Lucille Osgerby, Father; Gerald Kidder, and Father in Law; Garnet Hooker.
Memorial Service will take place at the Atlanta Eagles Hall on Saturday; February 27, 2021. Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 with the service following at 2:00. The Atlanta Eagles Auxiliary will provide a luncheon after the service. There will also be a memorial service at Life Church in Gaylord on Saturday, March 13, 2021, visitation will begin at 1:00 PM followed by the memorial service at 2:00 PM.
Arrangements are by Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers a donation to the family to cover funeral/cremation expenses would be appreciated. There is an account at the Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union in memory of Jill (Kidder) Hooker.
