Richard F. Stoker, 78 of Gaylord, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 28, 1942 in Detroit, the son of Richard and Mildred Stoker.

Richard is survived by his wife, Kaye; his children, Christine (James) Elliott of Royal Oak and Richard Jr (Pamela) Stoker; his granddaughter, Samantha Stoker; his brother, Robert Stoker and Margie Ford of St. Augustine, FL and brother-in-law, Lee (Gabriella) Conner of Evans, GA: two nephews; three nieces; 20 great nieces and nephews; very close and special friends, Mike (Diana) Heumann, Jim Leach and Wendy Willauer.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

On July 28, 1975, Richard married Kaye Conner and were married for 45 years. For over 25 years, he worked as a Police Officer at the Madison Heights Police Department. Richard enjoyed woodworking, old cars, tractors, boating and hunting. He had an outgoing and social personality and became a friend to many. He enjoyed visiting Paul's Pub and was friends with many of the patrons there. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family has chosen to have a private service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Otsego County Animal Shelter or to Hospice of Michigan.
