C. Fenner Goldsborough, 93 of Gaylord, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at home.

He was born on April 16, 1927 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Phillips Lee Jr. and Eveline (Fenner) Goldsborough.

In 1993, he married Joann Linaburg, his loving wife of 27 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. For most of his career, he worked as an insurance broker operating his own agency from his home. An active member at Grace Baptist Church, Grace became a second home for he and Joann. He was a member and past Commander and past Chaplain of the Ralph Holewinski VFW Post 1518. He enjoyed reading and woodworking. One of his greatest achievements was becoming an author, writing the book SUPER SCAM.

He is survived by his wife, Joann; three children, William (Deborah) Goldsborough of Gaylord, Brice (Dee) Goldsborough of Burlington, VT and Jean (Annie Rubright) of Reading, VT; four grandsons and their families, ten great- grandchildren; his step-daughter, Suzanne Housner; numerous nieces; one nephew and friends too numerous to mention.

A memorial service will take place 3:00 PM Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Grace Baptist Church where the family will visit with friends beginning at 1:00 PM until the time of services. Pastor Derek Hagland will officiate. Military Honors will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to Grace Baptist Church.
