Charles S Moore

Charles S. Moore, 72 of Levering, died at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Born in Petoskey on January 16, 1941, he was the son of Charles R. and Rosemary (Vanvulkenburg) Moore. He was a United States military veteran and a retiree of General Motors. On August 6, 1960 he married Joyce F. Shaw. In 1994 the Moore’s moved to Levering from Commerce Township. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; a daughter, Holly (Kevin) Brinker of Clarkston; sons, Craig (terry) Moore of White Lake and Charles Martin Moore of Byron; three grandchildren; one sister and one brother. As were his wishes, cremation will follow and his family will remember him privately. Arrangements are by Gaylord Community Funeral Home.
