Daren R Serven

Daren R. Serven, 51 of Gaylord, died on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Tendercare of Gaylord. Born in Flint on August 13, 1962, Daren was the son of James and Janet (Kibbe) Serven. A resident of Florida for several years, Daren worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast. Preceded in death by his father on July 30, 2013, Daren is survived by his mother, Janet Serven of Gaylord; brothers David (Heidi) Serven of Gaylord, Duane Serven of Mancelona and Karl Serven of Gaylord; a half-brother, Steve Bruce of Arizona; half-sisters Debbie Zyrowski and Darlene Seamon both of Kingston as well as several nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, Daren’s family will remember him privately. Arrangements are by Gaylord Community Funeral Home, 850 North Center Avenue.
