David A. Taylor

David A. Taylor, 53 of Wolverine, died on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. Born on December 7, 1960 in Honolulu, HI, he was the son of Gregory and Kathrine (Bess) Taylor. David moved to Wolverine in 1991 from Mt. Clemens where he had worked at R.A. Fox Manufacturing. Prior to his illness, he worked as a boring mill operator at Mark One Corporation in Gaylord. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. David was preceded in death by his father, Gregory in 1991 and by a brother, Timothy in 1996. Surviving is his mother and step father, Kathrine and Karl Andersen of Lewiston; brothers and sisters, Dennis (Michelle Watta) Taylor of Port Sanilac, Diana (Jim) Piotrowski of Sterling Heights, Robert Taylor of Sterling Heights, Michael Taylor of Memphis, MI and Christopher Taylor of Lake Orion. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. At his request, David’s family will remember him privately. Arrangements are by Gaylord Community Funeral Home, 850 N. Center Avenue.
