David J. Vasicek

David J. Vasicek, 66 of Gaylord, died on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at home. Born on October 22, 1947 in Reed City, he was the son of George and Anstice (Bradford) Vasicek. David served honorably in the U.S. Army, he worked as a heavy equipment operator and he was an avid hunter and fisherman. On April 21, 1993 David married his wife, Denise, who survives. Also surviving are10 children, 15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 5 sisters and a brother. At his request, his family will remember him privately. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Otsego County Food Pantry. Arrangements are being handled by Gaylord Community Funeral Home, 850 North Center Avenue.
