Dawn Hope Ferguson

Dawn Ferguson our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2026.

Dawn was born December 23, 1944. During her 81 years of life Dawn loved deeply, cherished family, and grew in Christ each day. Not a saint, but one who learned from some of life's hard lessons. She loved to laugh and enjoyed winning games. She gave from the heart, and looked for the needs of others. She was a giver to the core!

Dawn was a bright spot in the lives of those who knew her. She is resting in Jesus, waiting for His soon return.

She is survived by her husband Alvin Ferguson; sisters, Peggy Clark and Sally Sinnegt: and sister-in-law, Barb Aldrich; children, Deborah Curran (Edwin), Glenn Dann (Kimberly), Heidi Schroderous (Billy), Edward Shelby Dann (Jonny Ringo); her step children Donna Jones, Jo Lynn Bunker (Sherman), Alvin Ferguson Jr. (Nicole), Keith Ferguson (Theresa), and John Ferguson (Sarina).

She has an abundance of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren from both sides of her family who have survived her and loved her deeply.

Dawn's funeral will be held at the Petoskey Seventh-day Adventist Church at 1404 Howard Street, Petoskey, MI 49770, at 11:00 AM on Sunday, August 2, 2026.
