Dixie M. Ogle

Dixie Mae Ogle, 86 of St. Ignace, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Hiland Cottage Hospice House in Petoskey.

Dixie was born on December 12, 1931 in Chanute, Kansas where she was raised by her grandmother.  After graduating from high school there she worked for the telephone company.

Dixie married William E. Ogle.  They lived in St. Ignace and were the founders and owners of Paul Bunyan Pasties and The Kings Pasties which they operated for several years.  In her later years, Dixie moved lived in California, returning to St. Ignace in 2013 to be near her family.

Dixie is survived by her son, William (Susan) Ogle II of St. Ignace; and great grandchildren, Aiden and Melanie Ogle.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Tamlyn; a grandson, Clyde Ogle; a brother, Junior and half-sisters, Edna and Lois.
