Donna S. Bigness

Donna Susan (Campbell) Brown Bigness was born on September 1, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan, to William D. Campbell and Dorothy "Pat" (Nagy) Campbell. Shortly thereafter, her family moved to their home in Wayne, Michigan, where Donna grew up and graduated from Wayne Memorial High School in 1957.

In 1959, Donna married Dennis Brown in Westland, Michigan. Together they shared three beloved children: Susan (Chris) Cook of Wolverine, Michigan; Gary Brown of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; and Wendy (Darry) August of Petoskey, Michigan.

The family lived in the downstate area until 1971, when they moved north and settled in Wolverine, Michigan-a place that would remain close to Donna's heart.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy "Pat" Campbell; her sisters, Betty Schaar and Patricia Gorgon; and her brothers, Merle, Bill, and Jim Campbell. She is survived by her brothers, Bob (Gail Barker) Campbell and Tim (Virginia) Campbell; and sisters-in- law, Claire Campbell and Janet Campbell. Donna was the dear aunt to many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Donna was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren, of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

Donna loved spending time with family and friends playing games, she always had the highest scoring Scrabble word! Donna got her green thumb from her mother and loved her flower beds.

As we celebrate Donna's life, she will be remembered for her deep love of family and friends. She has now found peace and will be deeply missed, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories that will be cherished forever.
