Edward C. Duncan

Edward C. Duncan, 49 of Petoskey, formerly of Brighton and Davison, died on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at home. Born in Livonia on October 18, 1964, Ed was the son of Thomas and Deloris (Curd) Duncan. Ed worked at 3 Dimensional Services in Lapeer, MI as a small stamping team leader. In his younger years he was a volunteer firefighter in Brighton with Green Oak Township. Ed enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed working on cars. On November 20, 1982 he married Heidi M. Moore at the Brighton Church of Christ. He is survived by Heidi; daughters, Jacklyn Duncan of Plymouth, Melissa Hajec of Fenton and Carol Duncan of Davison; two grandsons; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Verne Olmstead of Petoskey and their son, Nick Olmstead of Flint. Memorial services for Ed will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the Petoskey Church of Christ, 1727 Anderson Road. Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the church. Arrangements are by Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 850 North Center Avenue in Gaylord.
