Frederick D. Dingee

Frederick D. Dingee, 84 of Gaylord, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Tendercare Gaylord.

Born in Jackson, MI on May 4, 1932, Fred was the son of Fred and Leona (Hall) Dingee.  He was a resident of Jackson until moving to Gaylord in 1986.  Fred served in the U.S. Army during the 1950’s.

Fred enjoyed truck driving and listening to CB radio.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty in 1987.  Surviving are his children, Karen Pugh, Janice Holliday, Julie Smith and Dawn Anders; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; and brothers, George and John Dingee.  Fred was also preceded in death by his sister.

His family has chosen to remember him privately with a graveside service in the spring at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Vanderbilt.
