Gary L. Vieau Sr.

Gary L Vieau Sr, 82 of Cheboygan, Michigan passed away on October 31, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Gary was born in Cheboygan, Michigan on February 13,1943 to John and Clara (Frasier) Vieau. Gary married Blanche M. Cater on September 30, 1964 and they were married 40 years. Over the years he had many occupations and was a carpenter by trade. He retired in 2004 but continued to deliver the Shopper's Fair until 2023.

Gary is survived by his 5 children, Garry Vieau Jr (Gina), Betty (Jim) Howarth, Gerald (Jenne) Vieau, Becky Vieau (Christopher Burke), Geremy (Drea) Vieau. He has several grandchildren that he loved dearly Tricia, Michael, Ryan, Derek, Caroline, McKenna, Richard, Brayden, November, Heather Ann and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Blanche, his parents John and Clara and all of his siblings.

Gary had many interests and a great love for hunting, fishing, playing canasta with his grandsons and family. He enjoyed a great cup of coffee and a doughnut while sharing cherished memories and stories about his life with his family and friends. Gary was loved by many and will be missed greatly.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
