George Frederick Long

George F. Long (94) of Gaylord, died peacefully at home on Saturday, June 10, 2026.
He was born in Roseville, MI on October 11, 1931.

He was preceded in death by his wives, with the most recent being Kelly (Alger) Long. George is survived by his daughter Megan Long, sister-in-law Karen (Alger) Smith, and nieces Kirsten Smith and Kennedy Smith.

George enjoyed camping with family, a cold beer on the weekends, watching western movies and tv shows.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in George's name can be made to the Otsego Animal Shelter or your local animal shelter.
