Gloria Jean Hattis

Gloria Jean Hattis, 82 of Gaylord, formerly of Johannesburg, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025, at August Haus in Gaylord.

Gloria’s survivors include sons, Robert (Kim) Hattis, and David (Kim) Hattis; daughters, Deborah (Brian) Troppens, and Cynthia (Harry) Kennedy; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, with a great grandchild due to arrive soon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Hattis in July.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Gloria loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her spare time, she could often be found enjoying time in her garden.

In keeping with her wishes, the family will remember her privately at a graveside gathering at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Johannesburg.
