James E. Jablonski

It is with a heavy heart yet a spirit of celebration that we announce the passing of James Eugene Jablonski, known fondly as Jim, who departed this life on October 31, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on September 18, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, Jim lived a life full of adventure, laughter, and love, before making his home in Indian River, Michigan.

Jim's journey began as a dedicated machinist, where he proudly contributed over 20 years of service to Troy Manufacturing and Design. His craft was not just a job but a testament to his commitment and passion for his work. Jim was known for his strong work ethic, unwavering support for his family, and his infectious enthusiasm for life.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Anna (Shirilla) Jablonski.

He is survived by his beloved brother, Tom Jablonski, and sister-in-law, Laurie Jablonski, along with his cherished nieces, Dr. Jillian Jablonski and her husband Kenneth Bacci, and Jessica Jablonski. He was also a proud great uncle to Adean, and his legacy will be carried on through his family, including nephews Dave Hart and Wayne Hart, all of whom reside in the Detroit area.

Jim had a zest for life that extended beyond his professional achievements. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, finding joy in the great outdoors. Fast cars and long boats were among his passions, as he reveled in the thrill of adventure and speed.

In these times of mourning, let us remember Jim for the love he shared, the laughter he brought into our lives, and the remarkable legacy he leaves behind. May his spirit continue to inspire us to live fully, love deeply, and embrace the adventures that lie ahead.
