James Edward Tousley

James Edward Tousley, aged 69 of Elmira Michigan, was quietly called home to God on May 31, 2026. James was born June 12, 1956. He was preceded in death by his father, wife Cathy and his brothers John and Jay.

James is survived by his mother Esther, daughter Courtney (George)Greenlee, sons Clinton & Chad; grandchildren Bryanah Lynne, Abbey Marie, AllyLynn, AnnaLise and Eban James; nieces and nephews.

He was married many years to Cathy. Before their story began, James graduated from Boyne Falls Public School. He joined the Air Force shortly after. When his service was over, he joined the factory workforce. He was the head maintenance manager until he retired.

James enjoyed fixing all things mechanical, he could fix just about anything. He also enjoyed being outdoors and making bonfires. He and Cathy spent many summers riding their motorcycles together and going to Interlochen for the yearly Harley Round Up.

James had expressed his wish to be cremated, and also to not prepare a funeral or memorial. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local VFW hall.
