Jason L. Grabowski

Jason Lee Grabowski, born on June 22, 1977, in Cheboygan Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, in Petoskey Michigan. He was the beloved son of John & Pamela Fairchild. His warmth and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

A proud graduate of Inland Lakes high school in 1997, Jason pursued a career as a handyman, dedicating his skills to the construction industry. Known for his unwavering willingness to assist friends and family, he became a reliable fixture in the lives of those around him. His love for life was evident in his many hobbies, particularly his passion for NASCAR, where he idolized the legendary Dale Earnhardt and Dale Jr. He enjoyed attending the I-500 snowmobile race in Sault Ste. Marie, MI and frequently visited the Onaway Speedway to watch thrilling races.

Jason cherished the time spent with family and friends, often gathering for video gaming sessions or traveling to different states to visit loved ones. His enthusiasm for adventure and life was unmatched as he balanced his interests with maintaining close relationships. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his infectious spirit and the joy he brought to others.

Jason was a beloved brother of Matthew Fairchild, Stacy Fairchild, and Daniel (Maryann) Fairchild. His beloved niece and nephews are Caleb Bishop, Brandon Cabarea, Emily (Andrew) Bylsma, Joshua Magana, and Griffin Fairchild. Jason was preceded in death by: his father Kevin Grabowski and grandparents John & Billie Jo Grabowski, Ida Hart, and Oliver Golding.

A memorial service will take place 11:00 AM Monday, December 29, 2025, at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service, where the family will visit with friends beginning at 10:00 AM.
