Jeanine Kendra Renard

Jeanine Kendra Renard, 75 of Vanderbilt, passed away at home on Thursday, November 14, 2019.

Born in Wayne, Michigan on October 21, 1944, Jeanine was the daughter of Leo and Jean (Roberts) Flourkowski.

On November 21, 1967, she married James F. Renard.  They lived many years in Westland where they raised their family.  Jeanine was a stay at home mom when their boys were young.  Later she worked in a local hardware store followed by several years in jewelry and furniture sales.  She retired from her sales position at Art Van Furniture.  After Jeanine and Jim both retired, they moved to their home in Vanderbilt.

Jeanine was an active member of Pigeon River Baptist Church in Vanderbilt.  In her spare time she enjoyed reading, crocheting and tending to the many flowers around her home.

She is survived by Jim, her husband of 52 years; her sons, Robert (Amy) Renard and Kenneth (Sarah) Renard; grandchildren, Taylor, Hunter, Jay, Charles, Marion, George and Anna; and a brother, Daniel Flourkowski.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Corwin Flourkowski.

The family will visit with friends from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service followed by funeral services at 1:00 PM.  Burial will take place in the spring at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Vanderbilt.
