Jean M. Kotimaki

Jean Margaret Kotimaki, 87 of Johannesburg passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital. Jean was born on December 27, 1931 in Pontiac, to Floyd and Elsie Hook.

Jean spent 28 years of her teaching career at Johannesburg-Lewiston Area Schools, touching the lives of generations of students along the way. In her free time she enjoyed traveling and fishing, but her true passion was quilting making countless quilts for friends and family.

Jean is survived by her son, David Harper of San Diego, CA; daughter, Sue Sapp of Brooksville, FL; son, Karl Kotimaki of Johannesburg; grandchildren, Josh Sapp, J.J Sapp, Kelsie Kotimaki, Kimberly Kotimaki and many great-grandchildren.
