Jeffery Clarence Leaman

Oct 22, 1963 — Sep 24, 2026

East Jordan

Jeffery Clarence Leaman, 62, of Traverse City, Michigan, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026, surrounded by his family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. In the months leading up to his passing, Jeff professed repentance and belief in the risen Lord, Jesus Christ.

Jeff was born in Petoskey, Michigan, and grew up in East Jordan. Throughout his life, he had many interests and hobbies and truly knew how to enjoy the things he loved. Music was a big part of his life, and he especially loved attending concerts, and cherished the years working at Castle Farms. He enjoyed playing poker, riding his Harley, traveling, and, above all, spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Jeff will be deeply missed by his parents, John and Faye Leaman; his daughters, Callie Leaman (Mitch Naber) and Lauren Drzewiecki; his grandchildren, Vivian and Emery Naber and Austin Slavens; his siblings, Steve (Debbie) Leaman, Kathy (Dave) Dipinski, Lisa (Larry) Huckle, and Kim (Brian) Malpass; his best friend, Brad (Kim) Wilson; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister Wanda Cooper, brother-in-law Eric Cooper, his two brothers at a young age, Robert John, and Curtis James Leaman.

Jeff will be remembered for the life he lived, the memories he made, and the love he had for his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but the stories, laughter, and memories shared with him will remain with those who loved him.

A celebration of Jeff's life will take place on Sunday, October 11, 2026. Additional details will be announced.
