Jeremy J Wilson

Jeremy Wilson was a loving husband, brother, son, uncle, and friend. And there were many things he loved, one of those being his heavenly father Jehovah. He was a God fearing man who deeply valued the mercy that had been extended to him by means of Jesus Christ ransom sacrifice. He so highly valued this gift, he spent much of his life endeavoring to tell others about it and encouraging them to take advantage of Jehovah’s love and mercy.

He was a giving and generous man who would hold nothing back from those in need, whether it was a kind word, a helping hand, or a gift at just the right time. Like many of us he strived to be the best possible version of himself and looked forward to the opportunity to have forever to become a perfect husband , son, brother, uncle and friend in Jehovah’s coming new world. He truly believed this and look forward with great anticipation to the fulfillment of the promises in the Bible that point to a time when all families on earth will enjoy everlasting life in a paradise earth by means of Jehovah’s kingdom, where sickness and suffering will be a thing of the past and no family will ever be separated by death again.

He was a clever man who loved to build things and work with his hands. He had knowledge of many things and a desire to always keep learning. He had a passion for the outdoors and above other hobbies; he liked to hunt and would jump at an opportunity to spend time in the woods.

He enjoyed living with his wife and four dogs near the pigeon river forest, where they would often see and enjoy the native wildlife. It brought him great joy to observe the beauty of creation and he felt at home amongst it.

Though never a parent himself, he was a father to many. He held a special place in his heart for his 22 nieces and nephews and each can relate several special memories that they have with their “cool” uncle. As a loving husband, Jeremy shared 20 years with his beloved wife, Dawn. He would often remark about how blessed he felt to have such a special person in his life. But their marriage was truly a union of two special people deeply in love and committed to each other. Each one was the others best friend, with love and respect always clearly visible in their marriage; they were truly partners through good times and bad.

Family was one of the most important things to Jeremy. And he is an irreplaceable member of his own. He will be remembered for a lot of things, among those, his hilarious sense of humor, including his famous “Clavicle” and the “Weasel Face”. For those just getting to know him, his quick wit and humor would come unexpectedly and he’d soon have you laughing.

For his family though, this was the norm and they will smile when they think of his funny personality and signature jokes. More than just someone to make you laugh, he was also a very tender and gentle man who would always sought to do everything he could for those he loved.

He leaves behind his wife, Dawn; fathers, Art Wilson and Ray Menzel; mothers, Diana Menzel and Sherri Wilson; mother and father in-law Harry and Dee Tyrpak; sisters, Carlie, Carmelle, Michelle, Teresa and April; brothers, Nathan, Alec, Tony and Chris; nephews, Ryan, Brandon, Matthew, Andrew, Nick, Ethan and Will; nieces, Danielle, Little Danielle, Sabrina, Taurie, Stephanie M., Stephanie L., Lily and Sophia; great nephew, Cole and great nieces, Cassie, Rebecca, Genesis, Eden, Sophia and Layla.
