Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend to many, unexpectedly left us on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. His legacy as a caring, kind, thoughtful and hilarious man had been cast in stone for decades. He laughed and loved daily and is immediately sorely missed by both those closest to him as well as long time friends reaching back to his youth. He touched people in meaningful ways that are being shared now around dinner tables, phone calls, posts, texts and tears. We love you Jerry, Dad, Papa, Pops, Unc - you blessed us, made us laugh, and helped us realize that sweating the small stuff is a waste of time. Your sign-off, when talking to most, “have a gooder”. Until we meet again, we love you. In accordance with Jerry’s wishes there will be no services, but a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
