Jerry R. Gill

Jerry Ray Gill Sr., age 68, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026, in his home in Indian River, Michigan, surrounded by family. Born on June 16, 1957, Jerry lived a life defined by kindness, love, and a genuine selflessness that touched everyone who knew him.

Jerry was the kind of man who made people feel welcome simply by being himself. He had a gift for storytelling and a way of connecting with others that felt easy and sincere. Whether gathered around a campfire, riding trails on his side-by-side, snowmobiling, or riding his motorcycle, Jerry found joy in shared experiences and time spent with the people he loved.  

Above all, Jerry was devoted to his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Rokki; his daughter, Heidi; his sons, Jerry Jr., Joe, and Randy; his siblings, Cindy, Matt, Pat, Joan, and Chris; his stepmother, Sharon; as well as numerous cousins, friends, and loved ones who will miss him deeply.  

Jerry's legacy lives on in the stories he told, the laughter he shared, and the quiet generosity he showed every day. He will be remembered for his warm heart, steady presence, and the way he always put others before himself.  

A small gathering for close friends and family will be held at a later date.
