Karen L. Downing

Karen L. Downing, 76, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at home, surrounded by her family.  Karen and her husband, Curt Downing, were married 48 years and enjoyed living in Indiana, Florida, Arkansas, and Michigan.

She was a talented sewer, crafter, and loved decorating all rooms of her home. She worked as an Executive Assistant in the finance/banking industry and most recently enjoyed working at Home Goods and The Terrace Inn.

Karen is survived by her husband, Curt Downing of Petoskey, MI; her son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Teri McKinney of Tampa, FL; her daughter, Kari  and Michael Reese of Tampa, FL and daughter and son-in-law Kelly and Jeff Tucker of Tampa, FL; her sister Cheryl Cravens and brother-in-law Paul of Mokena, IL; her brother Mark Kuzma of Bellaire, MI, brother-in-law Kim and Patty Downing of Martinsville, IN; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Graham.
