Katthleen LaPeer

Kathleen (Kathi) LaPeer of Afton, MI, passed away on June 3, 2023, in hospice care.  She was surrounded by her family. 

Kathi was born on November 27, 1946.  She graduated from Inland Lakes High School in 1964. 

She is survived by her grandson, Issac (Amy), great granddaughter Adalynn and soon to be great grandson of Alpena; grandson Chadlee Nestell, in the Marine Corps at Fort Geiger, NC; siblings, Susan Chevalier of Indian River, Albert (Colleen) LaPeer of Afton, Ellen Hlatko of Battle Creek, Vickie (Jerry) Vanslembrouck, Karen (Donnie) Barrette of Cheboygan, and Melanie (Kevin) Brann of Shelbyville; and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceeded in death by her parents, AnnaBelle and Albert LaPeer, and her son Jerry Nestell.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
