Leslie A. "Les" Taylor

Leslie A. “Les” Taylor, 55 of Gaylord, died on Thursday morning, May 22, 2014 at Otsego Memorial Hospital. Born in Detroit in July 30, 1958, Les was the son of Robert and Eleanor (Kupiec) Taylor. On March 23, 1984, Les married his wife, Mary Jo. They have been Gaylord residents for many years. He had worked as a cook and chef at Holiday Inn in Gaylord and the Settings at Lakes of the North. Les had worked the last several years at Wal-Mart in Gaylord. In his younger years he enjoyed four wheeling and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents. Les is survived by Mary Jo, his wife of 30 years; a sister, Christine Czajkowski of Gaylord; a brother, Scott Taylor of Florida; his father in law, Walter (Nonia) Gooden of Southfield ; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Helen (Terry) Hocking of Plano, TX, Larry Gooden of Southfield, Steve Gooden of Southfield, Chuck (Lisa) Gooden of Warren; Ron (Hiroko) Gooden of Yokosuka-shi, Japan, Lauri (Scott) Taipala of Redford and Linda Gooden of Southfield; 16 nieces and nephews and one great niece. His family will remember him privately. Arrangements are by Gaylord Community Funeral Home, 850 North Center Ave.
