Linda Sue Cotton

Linda Sue Cotton, 76, of Wolverine, Michigan, passed away surrounded by family on July 31, 2025, at McLaren Northern Michigan.

Linda was born on July 3, 1949, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late William L. and Bertha M. (Wiseman) Smith. On May 25, 1968, she married the late Roy A. (Pete) Cotton, who passed away on November 26, 2010.

Linda is survived by her three daughters, Rebecca (Lowell) Kight of Chillicothe, Michelle (Mike) Evans of Wolverine, and Cindi (Bryan Keaton) Cotton also of Chillicothe; grandchildren Sierra Althouse, Amber Jaminia, Michael Evans Jr, Justin Evans, Veronica Evans, Gary J. Helton, and Kaylee Helton; 11 greatgrandchildren; several nephews and nieces, including John Bonner, Peggy Chester, Jackie Irvin, and Terry Easter.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Virginia Bonner, Richard Smith, Robert Smith, Benton Smith, and Mary Easter; and step-mother, Juanita Bucy.

Linda was a 1967 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, computer games, and keeping up with family and friends on FaceBook.
