Lorretta Frampus

Lorretta Margaret Frampus of Indian River, MI, passed away on 11/8/23 at Hiland Cottage in Petoskey. She was born on July 17th, 1936, in Detroit MI and grew up in Redford Township.

She married Howell (Bud) on September 7, 1957, at Lola Park Lutheran Church. They raised three children in Redford Township before retiring up north to Indian River in 1994. She was preceded in death by Howell her husband of 56 years, brothers William and Richard Boyd. She is survived by daughters Julie (Dan) Burns, Maureen (Leonard)Sadowski; son Mike (Tami), brother Jack, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who will all miss her loud and genuine laughter but have peace knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior in Heaven.

 

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Hope Lutheran Church, 6193 Straits Hwy, Indian River, MI, where the family will visit with friends beginning at noon.  A luncheon will immediately follow the service.

In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations to the below charities as an expression of sympathy instead of flowers: Hope Lutheran Church, 6193 Straits Hwy, Indian River, MI 49749 or MNM Foundation Hiland Cottage Fund, 360 Connable Ave., Petoskey, MI 49770.
