Mary Louise Bartlett

Mary Louise Bartlett, 80 of Gaylord, died on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Otsego Memorial Hospital. Born on February 12, 1933 in Pontiac, she was the daughter of Wilbur John and Mary Louise Head. Mary was married to Harry Bartlett, and for several years they owned and operated the Cloverdale Dairy in Walled Lake. In the early 1970’s they moved to Gaylord and later back to the Walled Lake area. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry in 1991 and she later returned to Gaylord. In addition to working in their store, Mary had worked for Meijer in Walled Lake for several years. She enjoyed playing cards and playing bingo. In earlier years she also enjoyed drawing. Since moving to McReynolds Hall, she enjoyed activities there and attending church services. In addition to her husband, Harry, she was preceded in death by a son, James Bartlett in 2007 and a brother, Daniel Head. Mary is survived by her children, Rebecca Malchie of Brooklyn, NY, Kay Schirmer of Gaylord, Mark (Paula) Bartlett of Gaylord, Todd (Danette) Bartlett of Gaylord, Alan Bartlett of Commerce Township and Rick (Karen) Bartlett of Gaylord; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Services for Mary will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Gaylord Funeral & Cremation Service, 850 North Center Ave. with The Rev. James Bearss from St. Mary Cathedral officiating. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 10:00 AM. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to McReynolds Hall through Gaylord Funeral & Cremation Service, P.O.
