Merry Ann Traylor, 74 of Gaylord, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020 at McReynolds Hall in Gaylord.

Born in Charlevoix on February 24, 1946, she was the daughter of Irving “Mike” and Elizabeth (Diehm) Eaton.  Merry Ann lived much of her youth in East Jordan before moving to Gaylord where she graduated from Gaylord High School.  She also attended Davenport University for two years where she received a business degree.

On May 28, 1966 Merry Ann was married to her high school sweetheart, Robert “Bob” Traylor in Gaylord where they raised their family.  They were married for 52 years until his death on October 28, 2018.

Merry Ann worked for 40 years at Otsego Memorial Hospital in the finance department.

She enjoyed spending time and visiting with her family and friends, especially summers spent with her granddaughter.  She and Bob spent many hours tending to their beautiful flower beds.  The enjoyed taking drives in the country and sitting back on the deck, enjoying a cold one.

Surviving are her children, Lisa Traylor of Pawhuska, OK and Rob Traylor of Gaylord; her granddaughter, Larisa (Tyler) Frost and her great granddaughter, Liza Jane Frost all of Pawhuska, OK; a sister, Dora (Paul) Kotwicki of Gaylord; brothers, John (Bonnie) Eaton of Johannesburg and Jake Eaton of North Dakota; sisters-in-law, Sue (Tom) Wojtkowiak, Janet Traylor, Rula Traylor and Stella Johnson all of Gaylord; and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements for a future celebration of her life are pending.
