Miriam R. Clawson

Miriam Ruth Clawson, 85, of Charlevoix, MI, went to be with her Lord on June 8, 2026.

Miriam (Micki) was born on January 6, 1941 to Jack and Irene Hornberger in Grand Rapids, MI.

She and her husband, William lived at Green Lake in Caledonia, MI for 41 years and raised their family there. She loved to have picnics in the back yard by the lake. She enjoyed her family and friends there and her close friendship of many years with Judy. She and her husband, William moved to retire in Charlevoix, MI in 2007.

She loved her family, children, grandchildren, and great grand children and fostered several children during her life. She loved animals, especially dogs, and she loved ice skating.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, William Clawson and her children Mark, David, Christine, Katherine and her husband Chris, and Matthew (Dean). She is also survived by 11 grand children and 15 great grand children and her siblings Randy, David, and Linda.

A Celebration of Life in memory of Miriam's life will be at a later date.
