Myrna L. Tarr

Myrna Lois Tarr, 88, passed away peacefully in her home in Gaylord, MI, on April 4, 2023. Myrna was born in Fountain, Michigan. She moved to Arizona where she lived until moving back to Gaylord.

She is survived by her brother, Marvin McCray (Lory) of Waterford, Wisconsin; her daughters, Marlynn (Kristina) Schultz of Apache Junction, Arizona, Joylynn (David) Drews of Gaylord and Karyn (David) Pigg of Richmond, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Erik Drews of Gaylord and Jessica Pigg of Berea, Kentucky; and two great-grandchildren, Carson and Caleb. Myrna was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton; brothers Darwin and Ivran McCray; half-brother, Don Sterling; and her son, Allen Schultz. 

Her greatest joys were her family and her church. Myrna loved to dance, and if there was music, you could bet Myrna was the first one on the dance floor! Myrna will be missed by everyone she knew.

Memorial services will take place 11:00 AM Thursday, May 11, 2023 at St. Andrew Episcopal Church.
