Nicole M. Jones

Nicole Marie Jones, 35 of Gaylord, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital.

Born in Gaylord on January 11, 1986, Nicole is the daughter of Timothy J. and Annette M. (McMillin) Jones.  She graduated with honors from Gaylord High School in 2004.

Nicole worked for several years for Sally’s Beauty Supply stores as a store manager and most recently as the company’s training manager.  She had worked in their Grand Rapids and Grandville stores while living in Grand Rapids.  After moving home to Gaylord to be near her family, she worked at the company’s Petoskey store.

In her spare time she enjoyed camping, swimming, long walks on the beach, watching sunsets, trips to area casinos and visiting with family friends.  She had a beautiful singing voice which she enjoyed sharing with others.

Nicole is survived by her fiancée, Kevin Spehar; her parents, Tim and Annette Jones; a sister, Samantha (Caleb) Joyce; brothers, Steven (Tiffany) Jones and Andy (Kelsey) Jones all of Gaylord; and her great grandmother, Sunny Tykwinski of Cadillac.  She was preceded by a brother, Joshua Jones in 2018.

A private family memorial service will be held at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service.  Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to Make-A-Wish Michigan.  Interment will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cadillac.
