Ora W. "Red" Sowle

Ora W. "Red" Sowle, 74 of Johannesburg, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland.  Orie was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 27, 1943, the son of Willis and Amelia (Groth) Sowle.

He proudly served his county in the Army during the Vietnam War. For several years he owned and operated Reds Market in Vienna Corners.

He is survived by two step-daughters, Carla (Brian) Harder and Carmen Parker; grandchildren, Jacob, Lacey, Blake, Clay and Ella; great-grandson, Milo and a special friend, Jennifer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Wilma, Rosie and Laura.

A celebration of life gathering will take place from 2:30 - 4:00 PM Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Pau'ls Pub in Johannesburg.
