Page M. Sartell

Page Morris Sartell, 61, of Gaylord, Michigan, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital. Fortunately, for all, his father, Morris and stepmother, Barb, were able to visit for a few hours with him just prior to his passing. He lost his five-year battle with acute myeloid leukemia, which is thought to have been caused by his exposure to toxic substances while serving in the Marines. Page was honorably discharged from US Marines after serving between 1961 and 1965. Once a civilian, he used his artistic and woodworking talents in construction for years.

Page was never married and had no children. He is survived by his father, Morris Page Sartell, and his sister, Alicia Jones. He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Louise Sartell. Born in Dayton, Ohio in 1963, he moved to Southeastern Michigan in 1964 and later to Gaylord, Michigan in the 1990s. He loved being out of doors and could spend his days fishing, hunting, and just sitting with friends, enjoying the out of doors.

Page easily made a loving family out of his many friends in Narcotics Anonymous in the state of Michigan. He was very active and took on many roles, including artistry, mentoring, and leadership throughout the state of Michigan.

A memorial service will be held in August in the Gaylord area. We look forward to gathering with all of you. Please follow this obituary as time and place for the memorial service will be posted soon. Please share your memories and personal messages with the family on his guestbook below.
