Peggy R. Bramlet

Peggy Rae Bramlet, 85 of Gaylord, MI, formerly of Bellaire, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the Brook.  She was born May 8, 1938, in Great CaCapon, West Virginia, to Opal and Elwood Wharton.  She was married 63 years to her loving husband, Robert Bramlet, who preceded her in death in February 2022. 

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Beth (Mark) Shelhart of Gregory MI, and Judy (Matt) Leemon of Bellaire; grandchildren, Sarah Leemon of Bellaire and Kristy (Tony) of Cuthbert of Dansville, MI, Trevor Shelhart of Stockbridge, MI; and great-grandsons, Joshua Cuthbert and Miles Shelhart.

Peggy enjoyed her work as an Activity Director in parks in both Florida and Texas.  She enjoyed painting, dancing, and traveling throughout the U.S. with Robert.  A memorial is to be held in the spring.  Donations may be made to Compassus of Gaylord.
