Reamel J. Cobe, born on December 7, 1963, in Jackson, Michigan, passed away on January 29, 2026. She dedicated her professional life to the field of medical sonography, providing compassionate care as part of the team at Petoskey Surgeons. ReaMel's commitment to her work was matched by her love for the beauty of nature and the joy of spending time with loved ones.
Her adventurous spirit led her to the great outdoors, where she cherished riding her side-by-side in the Upper Peninsula with friends, creating countless cherished memories. ReaMel found immense joy in boating the Inland Waterway in Indian River, where laughter and camaraderie filled the air. Her happy place was the serene landscapes of the Upper Peninsula, a destination that brought her peace and happiness. She also loved visiting Michigan Center to connect with family and friends, reinforcing the importance of relationships in her life. She loved her home in Indian River on the Sturgeon River and the Happy Place in Curtis, MI.
ReaMel is survived by her beloved husband, Jeffery Cobe. Her warmth and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. The joy she brought into the lives of others will remain a lasting legacy of her generous spirit.
ReaMel was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marilyn Surber; and sister-in-law, Darcy (COBE) Kinder.
