Renee Clara Kozlowski, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on September 29, 2026 surrounded by her children at the age of 69. Born on November 15, 1956, in Detroit, MI, Renee's life was defined by her unwavering spirit and passion for helping others. She dedicated over 30 years to a successful career as a realtor, bringing joy to countless families by helping them find their dream homes. Her commitment and excellence in the field were recognized when she was awarded a regional accolade from Keller Williams South Shore office in 2023.

Renee was a force of nature, loved for her fierce determination and warmth. A survivor who triumphed over breast cancer in 2008, she embodied resilience and hope. Her interests included gardening, spending joyful days at the beach, and embracing the tranquility of water. Renee had a deep love for horses, and she cherished every moment spent with family, instilling in them her values of kindness and perseverance.

She is survived by her life partner Patrick Waier; her loving children, Melissa (Aaron) May, Jessica (Jason) Harding and Benedict (Leslie) Kozlowski Jr. Renee found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to Taylor (Nick) Parker, Rylee Harding, Kaitlyn (Jacob Jones) May, Ava Kozlowski, and Vera Kozlowski, as well as her grandson Wyatt May and great-granddaughter Dakota Jones.

Renee was preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Barb Courterier; her sister, Bonnie Neuenfelt; her brother, Mike Courterier and her niece, Nicole Myers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 AM Monday, October 12, 2026, at St. Mary Cathedral, where the family will visit with friends beginning at 10:00 AM.

Please join her children and grandchildren at the Harding farm to honor her remarkable spirit and the love she shared with all who knew her at 3:00 PM, also on Monday.
