Robert W. Cartwright

Robert Wayne Cartwright, age 73 of Boyne Falls, Michigan, passed away Thursday night, May 9, 2024, in the comfort of his home.

Robert was born on November 8, 1950, in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan to Charles and Anna (Payment) Cartwright.  He obtained his GED through night school.  Robert worked for the corp. of engineers and Rudyard area schools before retiring.  He enjoyed spending time with family and his dogs, gardening, and woodworking.  He collected antiques and glassware.  His greatest joy in life was his wife, Cathy Jo Cartwright.

Robert is survived by two sons, Bryan Griggs of Mesa, AZ, and Ted Cartwright of Tiffin, OH; a daughter, Wendy Martin of Sault Ste. Marie; and three granddaughters, Jessica Witt, Melissa Martin, and Ashley Martin.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Jo (Crebo) Cartwright; and his daughter, Carlotta Ann (Cartwright) Moore.
