Roxanne L. Gifford

Roxanne Lynn Gifford, 45, a cherished daughter, caring mother, beloved grandmother, loving wife, and devoted registered nurse, passed away peacefully at home on November 18, 2025, in Gaylord, Michigan. She was born on June 30, 1980, in Baltimore, Maryland, and touched the lives of many with her compassionate spirit and unwavering dedication to her profession.

As a registered nurse, Roxanne exhibited an extraordinary love for her work, finding fulfillment in both her roles as a traveling nurse and in home health care. Her commitment to helping others was evident in every patient encountered, where her expertise and kindness left a lasting impression on those in her care. Roxanne’s journey through nursing was not only marked by her professional accomplishments but also by her personal triumphs; she proudly put herself through nursing school while raising children and working tirelessly to earn her RN license.

Roxanne had a unique and vibrant spirit that shone through her many interests. She was an avid craftsman and painter, pouring her creativity into projects that brought joy to her life and those around her. Roxanne had a particular fondness for joining her husband in rooting for the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team, often cheering them on with an infectious enthusiasm. Her love of nature was evident in her cherished moments spent boating on the ocean and rivers of Massachusetts, as well as her joyful visit to Puerto Rico. Additionally, Roxanne relished living in Michigan, where she felt enveloped by the warmth of family.

Devotion to family was central to Roxanne's life. She cherished her twin granddaughters, spending precious time with them and creating memories that will resonate far beyond her years. Roxanne was also dedicated to her fur babies, a cat named Moose and a greyhound named Johnny Bench, who brought her immense joy and companionship.

Roxanne had a penchant for the simple pleasures in life, delighting in Chinese food and seafood, and finding happiness in every gathering with loved ones. Her legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her husband, A.J. Gifford; five children, Zackery (Richelle) Keller, Nathan (Sam) Keller, Genesis Hall and Kayla Hall all of Gaylord; two granddaughters, Annelise and Elaina Keller; her mother, Peggy Smith; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bonny (John) Gifford; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces.
