Sharon E. Enbody, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, was born on January 21, 1948, in Edmore, Michigan. She passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, at the Aspen Ridge Retirement Village in Gaylord, a place she cherished as home.
Sharon lived a life dedicated not only to her family but also to her career and community. She graduated in 1966 from Central Montcalm High School and went on to make significant contributions in various roles, notably working at Gibson in Belding, Michigan, before becoming the manager and caregiver at Care Cardinal Alger Heights Assisted Living Facility in Grand Rapids. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her professional life; Sharon was also a talented spot welder at Frigid Air.
Throughout her journey, Sharon cultivated a variety of interests, with craftwork being among her greatest passions. These creative pursuits were not just hobbies; they were expressions of her love and joy, which she often shared with those around her.
Sharon's faith was an integral aspect of her life. She loved the Lord deeply, and it is with comfort that her family knows she is now home, enveloped in the arms of peace and love she so fervently embraced during her time on earth.
Sharon's legacy of love continues through her family. She leaves behind her cherished daughter, Barbara (Guy) Roberts of Hemlock, three grandchildren, Trisha (Daniel) Schippers of Michigan, Kyle Roberts of New Mexico, and Lance (Ashley) of North Carolina, as well as twelve great-grandchildren, Mikenzi Roberts, Ahnika Schippers, Audry Schippers, Lillian Hill, Liam Matus, Connor Matus, Kendall Roberts, Reagan Hill, Zoey Roberts, Chloe Roberts, Wronyn Roberts, and Amberley Roberts, each carrying a piece of her spirit within them.
Her bond with her sisters, Bonnie (Art) Buda in New York and Donna Royce in Florida, as well as her cousins Krista and Robin, and longtime friends Julia William and TJ Sly were treasured connections that brought warmth and support throughout her life.
Sharon joins those who have passed before her, including her parents, Charles Young and Lillian Stewart Logan, her son, Donald Enbody, her brother, Richard Young and baby sister Barbara Jean Young. While their absence is deeply felt, their memories will forever remain alive in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Aspen Ridge Retirement Village for the loving care and support they provided for Sharon throughout the years. She loved each of you and thought of you all as family.
The family would also like to thank the Gaylord Funeral Home for their kindness during this time.
The family will remember her privately.
