Sharon L. Fell

Sharon L. Fell, 81 of Vanderbilt, passed away Friday May 30, 2025, at McReynolds Hall in Gaylord.

Born February 15, 1944, in Davenport, Iowa, she was the daughter of Raymond and Ruth (Bangert) Jepson. After growing up in Durant, Iowa, Sharon lived in Davenport as well as in New Jersey and Ohio.

After her marriage to Steve Fell, they lived in Des Plaines, Illinois. Shortly after his death, Sharon moved to Vanderbilt in 2002 to be close to family members.

After moving to Michigan, Sharon worked for several years in housekeeping at the Best Western in Gaylord. Sharon enjoyed a quiet lifestyle; in her spare time, she liked word seek puzzles and watching television, with a preference for game shows and older programs.

Sharon is survived by her children, Michael (Michelle) Evans of Wolverine, Terry L. (Melodie) Evans of Wolverine, Tracey (Charles) Chiarello of Mt. Prospect, IL, and Crystal Evans of Indian River; grandchildren, Michael Evans Jr, Justin Evans, Veronica Evans, Kymberlee (Gerad) Rolinski, Denise Evans, David Wilson, and Avery Lashuay; and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra (Kenneth) Leach of Wilton, IA, and several stepbrothers and stepsisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Carol Pauwell, and a daughter, Kimberly Evans.

In keeping with her wishes, a family celebration of her life will be held.
