Sharon May Berney

Sharon May Berney, 78 of Gaylord and formerly of Vanderbilt, passed away at home on Friday, July 12, 2019.

Born in Wyandotte on April 7, 1941, she was the daughter of Ray and Peggy (Coon) Rusienski

Sharon worked for several years at Lewiston Luster.  She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed riding motorcycles and had attended bike week in Sturgis, South Dakota.  More than anything, she loved camping.

Surviving are her children, Peggy Ferguson of Gaylord, Burt (Tammy) Berney of Lewiston, Dawn (Donald) Freeman of Gaylord and Mark (Vicky) Berney of Vienna Corners; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and sisters, Shirley Rusienski and Sheila Willsey.  She was preceded in death by 3 grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes, Sharon’s family will remember her at a family camping trip.
