Sherryl Marie Mosley

Sherryl Marie Mosley, 59, of Boyne City, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Gaylord, Michigan, on August 13, 2026.

Sherryl was born on May 27, 1967, in Charlevoix, Michigan, to Sandy and Roy Mosley. She was raised in Boyne City, where she graduated from Boyne City High School in 1985. Shortly after graduation, Sherryl moved to Florida, where she lived between Naples and Fort Myers. During her years in Florida, she made many wonderful friends and memories and welcomed two of her children before eventually returning home to Michigan.

Sherryl enjoyed many things in life, including crafting, resale shopping, garage sales, and music. But what she loved most was spending as much time as possible with her children and grandchildren.

Known to many as "Big Momma," Sherryl will be remembered for her quick wit, wonderful sense of humor, and incredible ability to make anyone laugh. She had a caring heart and a way of making people feel loved and welcomed. Most importantly, she will be remembered for the deep and unconditional love she had for her children, grandchildren, family, friends, and everyone who crossed her path.

Sherryl is survived by her children, Jose (Michelle) Hernandez of Flint, Michigan; Dakota Mosley of Boyne Falls, Michigan; and Ashla Dias of Gaylord, Michigan; her daughter-in-law, Robin (Thomas) Karlskin of Boyne City, Michigan; and the love of her life, Rick Iser of Mancelona, Michigan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who loved her dearly.

She leaves behind her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Benjamin Mosley and Alexander Mosley of Boyne City, Michigan; Courtney (Trey) Pickett of Panama City, Florida; Michael Pickett of Flint, Michigan; Hudson Pickett; Jackson Hagen; and Peyton Hagen.

Sherryl was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Sandy Mosley of Boyne City.

A Celebration of Life for Sherryl will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 1:00 - 5:00 PM at the Eagles Hall, 106 River Street, Boyne City, Michigan.
