Stella Fileccia, 93 of Gaylord, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, surrounded by family members.

She lived a fulfilling life, married in 1952 to William for 63 years until he passed away in 2015. She had 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She started working in accounting when her last child went to school. They moved to Gaylord in the early 80’s and she opened a gift shop “Gingerbread House”. She loved to bowl, golf, cook, bake, playing cards, and games. 

Her surviving family children, Stanley (Kathy), Catherine (Paul), William (Patricia), Dina (Richard); grandchildren, Kristi (Travis), Jill (Andrew), Kelly (Scott), William, Anna (Andrew), Rachel (Elliott), Paul (Kelli), Ruth (John), Jonathan (Ryann); great-grandchildren, Ella, Andrew, Isaac, Hudson, Boden, Jameson, JJ, Ellis, Tegan, Stella, Lucille, Penny, Caroline and Hattie. 

Visitation will take place from 2:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A memorial gathering will be private. Stella will be interred next to her husband, William, at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
