Stephanie Risdon-Zewatski, 76 of Gaylord, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026, at Aspen Ridge. Born in Detroit, MI on December 7, 1949, the daughter of Edmond Sr., and June (Stevenson) Risdon.
She is survived by her husband, William Zewatski; her brother, Ed Jr., (Barb) Risdon of Beverly Hills, MI; her sister, Pamela (Don) Hagel of Arizona and nieces and nephews.
She proudly graduated from Northern Michigan University in Marquette with her Masters Degree in Social Work. She enjoyed taking care of the elderly, during all the years she was a social worker. Her greatest pride and joy was her love of music and dogs. She and her husband, Bill, shared a strong bond with one another, especially anything to do with music and dogs.
A celebration of life gathering will take place in the spring.
