Suzanne Lee Gaylord

Suzanne Lee Gaylord, 87 of Boyne City, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025, at home at The Brook in Boyne City.

Born in Owosso, Michigan on January 25, 1938, she was the daughter of Joseph and Emilia (Chavora) Coakes.

Suzanne was the former owner or radio station Z92.5 The Castle in Owosso. She was also a former resident of Flint, Michigan, later moving to Boyne City to be close to her family.

Family was everything to Suzanne, and she enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed golf, playing cards, and cribbage.

Surviving are her children, Kelly (Gerry) Kragenbrink of Boyne City, Tracy (Fred) Stough of Felton, PA, Jill (Jim) Nielsen of Boyne City, and Michael (Lisa) Gaylord of Lithia, FL; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; a sister, Diane (Gary) Spence of Bellaire; two nephews and one niece.

She was preceded in death by parents; and by a granddaughter, Kourtney Frick.
