Timothy Thomas Cramer

Timothy Thomas Cramer, 62 of Gaylord, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

Born in Flint, Michigan, he was the son of Fred and Mary (Stuck) Cramer.  In the late 1970’s, Tim served honorably in the U.S. Army.

A longtime resident of Gaylord, Tim worked for 25 years at A&L Iron.  Currently he was working as a cook at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Gaylord.  He had also worked as a mason.

In his spare time, Tim enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing, and he enjoyed buying his lottery tickets.  Tim loved his cat, Crybaby, listening to rock & roll and playing the guitar.

Tim is survived by his wife, Sheryl Miller; they were married on June 20, 2022, in Gaylord.  Also surviving are his daughters, Crystal Cramer, and Tasha Taylor; many others who were like his children, including Julie and Sabrina; many grandchildren; a brother, Ned (Brenda) Walling of Gaylord; a sister, Debrah Sword of Detroit; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation with Tim’s family will be held from 3:00-7:00 PM Friday, March 10, 2023, at Gaylord Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow.
