Tommy L. Boyer

Tommy (Tom) Boyer, 82, of Petoskey, passed away on November 18, 2025. He was born in Petoskey to Harvey and Thelma Boyer. Tom attended Petoskey Public Schools and graduated in 1962, before joining the Army. He worked in floor covering installation for several area companies and shared a business with his brother Buck. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, bowling, and hunting. He was also an avid reader and gardener.

Tom is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda; daughters, Lorelle Mansfield and Janette (Eric Lashuay) Boyer-Lashuay; sister, Robin (Dale) Anderson; granddaughter, Brooke Lashuay; and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings: Bill Boyer, Bonnie Dell, Bob Boyer, Allen Boyer, Buck Boyer.  

A memorial lunch for Tom Boyer will be held on Sunday, December 7th, at 3:00 PM at Petoskey Eagles, 313 Water Street, Petoskey, MI.
